DescriptionThe project, sponsored by Blacktown City Council and the Australian Government Anzac Centenary Local Grants Program, was led by Jan Cleveringa and Abbas Makrab. The series of mosaics, located in Dawson Mall at Mount Druitt, commemorated the Centenary of Anzac. The work was unveiled on 8 December 2015 by Emeritus Mayor Charles (Charlie) Lowles. Doves, a traditional symbol of peace are part of next symbol.
