DetailsThe first project in the $86.9 million Mount Druitt Hub makeover project was announced on 26 February, and a community consultation day was planned for 6 March. A brand-new First Nations Cultural Hub will be built between the Mount Druitt Hub and the Mount Druitt Library. A two-storey expansion of the existing Hub will bring a modern children's library, enclosed play area, new meeting and study rooms and multi-purpose function rooms for community use. Construction is expected to begin in early to mid-2026.
