One of the common items in discussion in each meeting may be related to water use and infrastructure, including the Blacktown-Riverstone-St Marys water scheme and works along Bungarribee Road.
The Women's Settlement in Doonside is also mentioned, established in part by Pamela (Pam) Thayer Green, who aimed to help unemployed single women and was involved with the United Association of Women.
