DescriptionImage of a cottage and shed located on the original Western Road alignment, now a lane beside the Great Western Highway at Eastern Creek. Picture taken looking south-west towards Pikes Lane. These houses were built on the original plot of land given to William 'Lumpy' Dean, a distant relative of the Pike and Rankins families. The buildings were demolished around 2012.
