DescriptionImage of two cottages looking south located on the original Western Road alignment, now a lane beside the Great Western Highway at Eastern Creek. The addresses could be 715 and 721 Great Western Highway. These houses were built on the original plot of land given to William 'Lumpy' Dean, a distant relative of the Pike and Rankins families. The buildings at 721 were demolished around 2002, and the buildings at 715 were demolished around 2020.
