DescriptionAerial photo of the camp set up for the Seventh Day Adventists (S.D.A) annual convention held in Blacktown. Nearly 1000 participants would attend the ten-day event with the Greater Sydney Conference taking a week of this time. This "tent city" had a grocery store, bookstore, cafeteria and a staffed medical first-aid centre. The large canvas pavilion was said to hold a seating space equal to that of the Sydney Town Hall. The site is probably in the location of the current Adventist Aged Care facility in Kings Langley.
