DescriptionColyton Public School building. View from the northwest corner looking southeast towards Alan Street. The first school at Colyton opened in 1861 in Simpson Hill Road. In 1864 the school was transferred to another building. In 1883 the location of the school was moved to its present site at Nelson Street, Mount Druitt. Provided in the recollection of Mrs Ravenscroft to Mount Druitt Historical Society written by Margaret Lovely.
