Her family moved to Colyton when she was a child and lived on land in the vicinity of the present Colyton Hotel/Motel on the corner of Great Western Highway and Hewitt Street, not far from Ropes Creek. At the time of the image, Mrs Ravenscroft was living with Enid (Mrs Daglesh).
