Her family moved to Colyton when she was a child and lived on land in the vicinity of the present Colyton Hotel/Motel on the corner of Great Western Highway and Hewitt Street, not far from Ropes Creek. At the time of the image, Mrs Ravenscroft was living with her daughter, Enid (Mrs Daglesh).
