DetailsOn 26 July 2023, Blacktown City Council awarded the Keys to the City to Ngemba man Danny Eastwood.
Danny, who has called Darug land home for the past 30 years, is a First Nations elder and artist. Through his art, Danny has shared important messages and stories about First Nations culture. He has also shone a spotlight on racism and challenged stereotypes relating to First Nations people and culture through his cartoons which have featured in the Koori Mail for over two decades.
